As a creator, I am driven by a longing passion for self-expression and a desire to engage with the world in a visual, tactile, olfactory, and aural dialogue. My work is an exploration of my identity and my desire to understand the experiences that I’ve grown from. Through music, objects, scent, and fashion, each creation is a phenomenological reflection of my experiences.

My artistic journey has been greatly influenced by creation, being, and destruction. I have grown up from an impoverished, middle American childhood and divorced parent life into finding identity in the LGBTQIA+ community, to indulging in my true self through societal and medical transitioning of gender. I am artistically influenced by all things around me. Things taken for granted, like silence in a generally busy intersection, to childhood memories randomly remembered. I crave to honor life for what it is, not for what man shifts and forms it into.

My creative process interplays between intention and spontaneity. I approach my work with a clear concept in mind, yet I allow room for experimentation and unexpected outcomes. This balance between control and improvisation is where I find the true essence of my artistic expression. Through meticulous layerings of colors, textures, sounds, and smells, I aim to convey what I desire to share with those surrounding me.

At the core of my artistic practice lies a fascination with existence and identity, which I believe are fundamental to the human experience. By delving into these themes, I seek to explore the way we perceive and interact with the world around us. My work acts as a various conduit for conversations about what identity is, how we came to be, and what our purpose is. My goal as an artist is to provoke thought and evoke emotions. I work to transcend boundaries and connect deeper with the human experience.
